Men's Golf Heads to MAC Championship
May 2, 2007 Ohio Golf Weekly Release | MAC Tournament Central | Live Results ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio men's golf squad will head to Westerville to compete in the 2007 MAC Championship this Thursday though Saturday, May 3-5. Event: MAC Championship The Ohio men's golf squad will close out the 2006-07 schedule this weekend when it participates in the MAC Championship. This year's installment of the league tournament will be held at The Medallion Club, two miles north of Westerville. The Jack Nicklaus II golf course plays 7,216 yards from the championship tees. The Bobcats will field a lineup of Grant Christman, Mark Cimarolli, Mark Phillips, Ryan Siekmann and Chad Warmbein. The Ohio men finished eighth in the nine-team field a year ago. Tied for seventh, Christman was Ohio's top finisher in the event with a four-over 292. Tournament action will see of 36 holes played on Thursday and 18 on Friday and Saturday.
