Details Announced for 2012 Bobcat Open

ATHENS, Ohio – Ohio Men’s Golf has finalized the details for the 22nd annual Bobcat Open, the program announced on Monday. The fundraiser is scheduled for Monday, Oct. 1 at The Lakes Golf and Country Club in Westerville, Ohio. Open to anyone, the Bobcat Open will begin with a shotgun start at noon. The format of the event will be a team scramble with one Ohio University golfer assigned to each group. Following the golf portion of the day, there will be a dinner at 6 p.m. and an awards banquet at 7 p.m. As a special bonus, an Ohio University bus has been chartered for those participants who want to ride from Athens to Columbus for the event.
