ATHENS, Ohio - In the second tournament of the fall season, the Ohio men's golf team will travel to Ball State to participate in Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational, Sept. 17-18.

Course: Delaware Country Club
Course Layout: Par 70, 6438 yards

After finishing a distant 13th in the 15-team John Piper Intercollegiate - the season's first event last week - the Bobcats will look to get back on track at Ball State.

The 17-team Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational will be held at the Delaware Country Club in Muncie, Ind. Among the teams in the field, Ohio will compete against Mid-American Conference foes Bowling Green, Toledo and host Ball State.

The Bobcats took home seventh place out of 17 teams in last year's Yestingsmeier Invite. Graduated senior Grant Christman placed third in the event to lead Ohio.

Ohio Director of Golf Bob Cooley is expected to fill out his card with Mark Phillips, Tim Gusweiler, Stewart Jamieson, Mark Reinhold and Chad Warmbein.
