Scuffle Results
GREENSBORO, N.C.-The Ohio wrestling squad placed three student-athletes at the Southern Scuffle when the competition was completed Thursday in Greensboro.
Ohio's Nick Purdue took sixth at 174, while Germane Lindsey (141) and Jeremy Johnson (285) posted seventh and eighth-place performances, respectively. Andy Hartshorn also went 1-1 Thursday in the 285-lb. class.
Ohio finished 14th overall in the 34-team competition with 45.5 points.
The Bobcats host Chattanooga Monday at 7 p.m. ET in the Convocation Center in the team's home opener.

141-Germane Lindsey (Ohio, 6-2, Seventh Place): defeated Chase Skonieczny (Kent State) 1:51, defeated Vicente Varela (Hofstra) 3-2, lost to Cole VonOhlen (Air Force) 4-3, defeated Augustus Sako (Virginia) 8-1.
174-Nick Purdue (Ohio, 4-2, Sixth Place): defeated Stephen Doty (Virginia) 9-4, lost to Christopher Henrich (Virginia) medical forfeit, lost to Justin Zeerip (Michigan) medical forfeit.
285-Jeremy Johnson (Ohio, 3-3, Eighth Place): lost to Cameron Wade (Penn State) 5:01, defeated Eloheim Palma (NC State) 6-1, lost to Joe Tymosuzuk (Kent State) 3-1, lost to Ricardo Alcala (Indiana) 4-2.
285-Andy Hartshorn (Ohio, 4-2): defeated Paul Snyder (Hofstra) 2:33, lost to Ricardo Alcala (Indiana) 4-1.
