ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio wrestling team is one of 16 teams competing in the National College Division of the Virginia Duals Jan. 9-10 in Hampton, Va. The pairings were announced this morning, and Ohio (4-2-1) will face ninth-ranked and top-seeded Lehigh in the opening round on Friday in Hampton Coliseum. The Mountain Hawks are 12-0 on the season, matching their best start in school history.

The rest of the top-eight seeds, in order, went to No. 13 Oklahoma State, No. 12 Central Michigan, No. 17 Edinboro, No. 23 Penn, No. 21 Old Dominion, No. 24 Virginia and Kent State.

The Bobcats are coming off a 22nd-place finish at the Southern Scuffle Dec. 29-30, where both redshirt junior Jacob Ison (Batavia, Ohio) and sophomore Quentin Keyes (Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio) advanced to the quarterfinals in their respective weight class. Junior Clay Tucker (Martins Ferry, Ohio) leads the team in wins with a 13-9 record, while Ison is ranked 19th in the nation at 174 pounds with a 7-1 mark on the year, including a 5-1 record in dual competition.
