ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University Wrestling team (8-2, 4-2) travels to Cedar Falls, Iowa on Saturday to take on South Dakota State and No. 8 Northern Iowa inside UNI's McLeod Center.

The match against South Dakota is set to begin at 12 p.m., with Northern Iowa following at 1:30 p.m.

Ohio houses four ranked wrestlers, No. 14 Tywan Claxton (South Euclid, Ohio), No. 9 Cody Walters (Macedonia, Ohio), No. 11 Phil Wellington (Euclid, Ohio), and No. 11 Jeremy Johnson (Broadview Heights, Ohio), according to InterMatwrestle.com. The `Cats enter the series of contests after back-to-back wins against Buffalo (34-6) and rival Kent State (21-16) last weekend.

Johnson currently holds the best overall record for the Bobcats, at 25-4 and 6-0 in the Mid-American Conference. He will be chasing his eighth-consecutive victory, and fourth pin in a conference dual.

Junior Harrison Hightower (Strongsville, Ohio) leads the team in pins, with 12, and will be competing for his third-consecutive victory.

Claxton will be on the hunt for sixth-consecutive win and will to maintain his 6-0 undefeated record in MAC competition.

Wellington also will look to maintain his undefeated MAC record, as he shoots for his fourth-consecutive win.

South Dakota State is 3-3 on the season, and is home to No. 17 Cody Pack, 157.

No. 8 Northern Iowa is currently undefeated in dual competition, coming off of a 24-10 win over No. 14 Missouri. The Panthers feature six wrestlers ranked in the top-20 of their respective weight classes, including current MAC Wrestler of the Week No. 5 Ryan Loder.
