Ohio's six qualifiers to the NCAA Championship are the most in head coach Joel Greenlee's tenure in Athens. Over the past two seasons, the Bobcats have sent 11 individuals to the NCAA Championships.
Ohio will be search of its straight All-American at this year's NCAA Championships. In each of the past two seasons, Ohio has had one individual earn All-America honors. In 2012, HWT Jeremy Johnson earned All-America honors. Teammate Cody Walter followed Johnson's performance in 2013 as he claimed All-American honors at 174.
WALTERS AND JOHNSON SHINE AT MAC CHAMPIONSHIPS
Redshirt sophomore Cody Walters and senior Jeremy Johnson both picked up their second Mid-American Conference crown this season at the league championships on March 9. For Walters, it was his second-consecutive league title, while Johnson earned his first conference crown since 2012.
