ATHENS, Ohio - The Mid-American Conference has announced that two Ohio wrestlers have been selected to the MAC All-Academic Team for the 2007-08 season.

Two sophomores - Kevin Christensen (Springfield, Ohio) and Seth Morton (Canal Winchester, Ohio) - were named to the nine-student-athlete all-academic team. Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan also received two selections each while Buffalo, Northern Illinois and Kent State earned one apiece.

Christensen, Ohio's starter at 149 pounds, took second place at the MAC Championships at Kent State on March 8 while also posting a 3.37 GPA this season. He recorded a 3-1 decision against Kent State's Clint Sponseller in the first round of the 149 pound bracket and then pinned NIU's Kalen Knull in 3:51. Christensen defeated Knull once again in the consolation bracket championship to take the runner-up honors.

Morton split time at 133 pounds with Quentin Keyes and posted a 7-11 record, including wins against NC State's Darrius Little and a victory over Maryland's Charles Golden. Morton earned a 3.52 GPA last quarter and has a 3.50 cumulative mark.
