ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio Wrestling Team announced its 2012 recruiting class on Friday. The class consists of six wrestlers and five of the six wrestlers carry a national rank. Among the six newcomers, the group has combined for seven state titles and 18 state placements.

"This isn't the biggest class but could be the most impressive recruiting class we've put together since I've been at Ohio based on the elite talent of the wrestlers in it" said Ohio head coach Joel Greenlee. "We are very excited to add this class to our current roster, we are a young team with a tremendous amount of talent right now.
