ATHENS, Ohio - Ohio grappler Jacob Ison was tabbed sixth in the latest TheMat.com U.S. Senior Greco-Roman Rankings released on Thursday by USA Wrestling. Ison, in the 84 kg/185 lbs. division, recently placed sixth at U.S. Senor Nationals in Las Vegas, earning him a spot at the World Team Trials that will be held later this month.

The Batavia, Ohio native owns a career record of 54-24 for the Bobcats and is coming off a 10-3 season competing at 174 pounds as a redshirt junior in the 2008-09 campaign. Ison will compete in the World Team Trials in Council Bluffs, Iowa beginning May 30. To view the complete rankings, click here.
