Joel Greenlee will go "On the Mat" on Wednesday, Oct. 23

ATHENS, Ohio - Ohio University's head wrestling coach Joel Greenlee will be featured on the Wednesday, Oct. 23 episode of "On the Mat" along with Teague Moore the head coach of American University's wrestling squad.

"On the Mat" is a presentation of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame Dan Gable Museum. The show can be heard live on the Internet at 1650thefan.com or locally in Northeast Iowa each Wednesday from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. central on AM 1650, The Fan.

Greenlee serves as the head wrestling coach at Ohio University. His team is ranked first in pre-season polls for the Mid-American Conference. A native of Waverly, Iowa, Greenlee was selected for the 2014 Class of the Glen Brand Wrestling Hall of Fame of Iowa.

Moore serves as the head wrestling coach at American University. He was an NCAA champion for Oklahoma State in 1998. He will discuss the recent Association of Career Wrestlers (ACW) tour event that took place in Pittsburgh, Penn. 

The wrestling Bobcats open their season with the Green and White Exhibition Match on Nov. 3 at 12 p.m. The team's first regular season match will be at Michigan State on Nov. 9 at 9 a.m.
