ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University wrestling team returns to action on Saturday as it takes on Central Michigan, beginning at 7 p.m. The Bobcats will then travel to Eastern Michigan on Sunday for a 2 p.m. match.
Ohio will take to the mat for the first time since the Michigan State Open on Nov. 12. During that open bout, sophomores Michael Duckworth and Jeremy Johnson each won their respective weight classes.
Freshmen Drew Hammer and Sparty Chino also had strong showings on Saturday as they each posted runner-up performances.
In last year's meetings, Ohio defeated both Central and Eastern Michigan by the counts of 21-17 and 28-9, respectively.
