ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University Men's Cross Country notched a top spot finish at the 2013 Miami Invitational Saturday morning. Ohio finished with a team score of 33 to claim the event.

The `Cats placed five runners in the top 10. Sophomore Jarrod Genther (Canal Winchester, Ohio) was the top Ohio finisher as he concluded the race in third place in a time of 14:59.2.

Sophomore Jacob Stephens (Bellbrook, Ohio), junior Chase Robinson (Navarre, Ohio), Brandon O'Malley (Kettering, Ohio) and sophomore Kurt Steinmuller (Stonybrook, N.Y.) were also top 10 runners as they placed sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth, consecutively.

Miami's David Wing won the event in a time of 14:55.3.

Ohio returns to action on Sept. 14 as it hosts the Ohio Invitational. The meet is set for 10:45 a.m.
