Ohio Men Race to Seventh-Place Finish at Harry Groves Invitational

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. - The Ohio University men's cross country team took seventh at the 2012 Harry Groves Invitational Saturday morning to open its season. the 5.2 miles race was held on the Blue-White Golf Courses.

Senior Tyler Ames (Cortland, Ohio) was the Bobcats' top finisher as he placed 28th in a time of 26:58. Sophomore Jacob Stephens was Ohio's next finisher as come in 43rd in a time of 27:41.

True freshman Wes Cochran and Jarrod Genther came in 45 and 46th, respectively.

Princeton took the team title as it finished the event with 25 points.

The Bobcats returns to action next week as it plays host to the Ohio Invitational beginning at 3:15 p.m.
