Bobcat Men Finish 19th at NCAA Regionals

TOLEDO, Ohio - The Ohio University men's cross country team placed 19th Saturday afternoon, finishing with 493 points at the 2011 NCAA Great Lakes Region Championships at the Ottawa Park Golf Course. The race consisted of 31 teams and 211 runners.

Junior Tyler Ames (Cortland, Ohio) was the top Ohio finisher as placed 47th. Ames completed the 8-kilometer course in a time of as he clocked a time of 31:26.9. Sophomore Chase Robinson (Navarre, Ohio) also placed in the top 100 as he clocked a time of 32:04.3.

Sophomore Callum Hawkins from Butler won the meet, finishing in a time of 30:01.5 and Wisconsin won the team title as it finished with 50 points.
