FINDLAY, Ohio - The men's cross country team participated in the All-Ohio Indoor Track & Field Championships as part of its unofficial `spring season,' competing in the distance events, winning one race and placing eighth with 22 total points in the 12-team field.

In the mile run, freshman Tyler Cantley finished 14th with a time of 4:30.90, while teammates Aadam Soorma and Dan O'Brien placed 18th and 21st, respectively. Kevin Kappers posted a top-10 finish in the 800 meters with a time of 1:57.10, good for seventh place. Scott Wildermuth finished 10th in the 800 with a 1:59.58.

Junior Ridge Robinson won the 3,000-meter run, crossing the finish line in 8:30.33. Two Bobcats posted top-10 showings in the 5,000-meter run, as Chris Davis and Matt Michno placed seventh and ninth, respectively. Ohio came in sixth in the 4x400-meter relay with a mark of 3:34.83 and fourth in the distance medley relay with a time of 10:42.71.

The Bobcats have four more events they will run in as part of the `spring season.'
