Bobcats to compete in All-Ohio Championships

ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio men's and women's cross country teams are set to compete at the All-Ohio Championships in Cedarville, Ohio on Friday. The women will kick off the event at 2 p.m., while the men will take the line at 2:45 p.m.

Both teams claimed first-place victories in the Ohio Invitational last week Saturday. The men claimed the top 13 spots, while the women placed six runners in the top 10.

Sophomore Allison Stillwell (Zanesville, Ohio) led the women with second-place finish, clocking a 22:41.96 and came in just four seconds behind Robert Morris' Michelle Schiewe, who won the race with a time of 22:37.35. Fellow sophomore Melissa Thompson (Westerville, Ohio) also ran well claiming fourth-place in a time of 22:48.00.

Junior Noah Howkins (Stow, Ohio) won the race with a 25:53.93 time on the 8-kilometer course to lead the Bobcats. Howkins was closely followed by sophomore Chase Robinson (Navarre, Ohio), who finished runner-up with a time of 25:58.95.
