ATHENS, Ohio -- The Ohio men's golf team is back in action this weekend (April 13-15) at the Stitch Intercollegiate, hosted by North Carolina State at MacGregor Downs Country Club in Cary, N.C. The tournament format is 54 holes of stroke play that will get underway on Friday (April 13) at 8:30 a.m. ET. Live scoring will be available via Golfstat.
The Bobcats will have the opportunity to compete against some of the best teams in the country with 10 teams in the top 100 of the Golfstat rankings at the event. Ohio is set to contend with Wake Forest, (28), Duke (29), North Carolina State (35), Campbell (58), East Carolina (75), College of Charleston (81), Maryland (84), Virginia Tech (90), UAB (91), Richmond (157) and Appalachian State (192).
Competing this week for the Bobcats will be redshirt senior Tom Nettles (McMurray, Pa.), senior Brady Bohl (Dublin, Ohio), junior Ben Sattler (Liberty Township, Ohio) and freshmen Zach Crawford (Vandalia, Ohio), Zach Mandry (Solon Ohio) and Tanner Johnson (Peters Township, Pa.)
The Bobcats look to build some momentum in their last regular season event before competing in the 2018 Mid American Conference Championships, which is set to be held April 27-29 at Sycamore Hills Country Club in Fort Wayne, Ind.
