WILLIAMSBURG, Va. -- The Ohio men's golf team remains in the top 10 of the team standings at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate, sitting in ninth place with a total team score of 599 (+31). The Bobcats combined to shoot a 299 (+15) in the second round today at Golden Horseshoe Gold Course after tallying a 300 (+16) in first-round action on Sunday (March 24).
Loyola Maryland has moved into first place with a total team score of 573 (+5). After recording a 297 (+13) in the first round, the Greyhounds shot a 276 (-8) in the second to advance two spots on the leaderboard.
Sophomore Zach Crawford (Vandalia, Ohio) continues to lead the way for Ohio. He is now tied for 26th with a 148 (+6) after shooting a 75 (+4) in the second round. He recorded a first-round score of 73 (+2).
Sophomore Zach Mandry (Solon, Ohio) shot a 75 (+4) in the second round, bringing his two-round total to 148 (+6) and tying him for 26th. He notched a first-round score of 74 (+3).
Sophomore Tanner Johnson (Venetia, Pa.) improved nine spots on the leaderboard, with a second-round 73 (+2) putting him in a tie for 35th with a 150 (+8). In first-round action, he shot a 77 (+6).
Senior Ben Sattler (Liberty Township, Ohio) is now tied for 72nd with a 156 (+14). He has posted round scores of 76 (+5) and 80 (+9).
Sophomore Austin Dyson (Dublin, Ohio) tallied a 76 (+5) in the secound round, moving him up 13 spots on the leaderboard and into a tie for 87th with a 161 (+19). He shot an 85 (+14) in the first round.
Campbell junior Max Theodorakis now leads the field with a two-round total of 138 (-4). After recording a 70 (-1) in the first round, he fired a second-round 68 (-3) to improve two spots on the leaderboard.
The third and final round of the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate will commence with a 9 a.m. ET shotgun start on Tuesday (March 26).
