Men’s Cross Country Finishes 12th at NCAA Great Lakes Regional

TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Ohio men's cross country team wrapped up a weekend at the first round of the NCAA Cross Country Championships, the Great Lakes Regional, hosted by Indiana State. The Bobcats finished the 10K in 12th place with a total of 368 points and with the top-five runners averaging a 32:34 time.

The Bobcats finished before Mid-American Conference schools Bowling Green, Central Michigan and Akron. 

Junior Kyle Bussard (Germantown, Ohio) came in first for the Bobcats finishing the race in 61st out of 187 runners with a 32:18.7 time.  

Sophomore Josh Park (Amherst, Ohio) followed shortly after in 64th place with a 32:22.2 time. 

Senior Brad Miller (Bellbrook, Ohio), sophomore Griffin Butler (Newark, Ohio) and senior Matt Evans (Mentor, Ohio) rounded out the Bobcat scoring five with times of 32:25.3, 32:34.6 and 33:12.2 respectively. 

Sophomore Erik McKean (Pataskala, Ohio) wrapped up the Bobcat's race by finishing with a final time of 35:05.1.
