The Ohio softball team (6-3) wrapped up play at the 2019 Gamecock Invitational Sunday (Feb. 17), sweeping the day’s competition. The Bobcats defeated Campbell (1-8), 4-3, in game one, and came back later in the afternoon to defeat Charlotte (3-4), 8-6, in the final game.
The Ohio softball team continued play at the 2019 Gamecock Invitational on Saturday (Feb. 16), falling to UNC Greensboro, 4-3 in eight innings. Sophomore Katie Yun led Ohio at the plate with three hits, two doubles and three RBI.

The reigning Mid-American Conference Regular Season and Tournament Champion Ohio softball team has been selected third in the 2019 MAC Softball Preseason Poll, the leagues announced today (Fab. 6). The poll was voted on by the league’s 11 head coaches.

ATHENS, Ohio --The Ohio Softball program will be hosting their annual January Jingle camps on Saturday, Jan. 12th and Sunday, Jan. 20, 2019. This camp is for softball players between 7th through the 12th grade and will take place at Walter Fieldhouse located on Ohio University's campus. Cost of the camp is $175 for the defensive position and hitting instruction portion of the camp, with an option for a $45 add on live pitching and hitting session.
The Ohio softball program announced the addition of five student-athletes in the early signing period, first-year head coach Kenzie Roark announced today (Dec. 18). Holly Brehm, Alexis Dawe, Sydney Larson, Ryan Shaunghnessy and Molly Troutman are set to join the Bobcats for the 2019-20 season.

The Bobcats will face off against nine teams that also saw action in the 2018 NCAA Tournament including; Kennesaw State, South Carolina, UNC Greensboro, BYU, Long Beach State, Saint Francis (Pa.), Mississippi State, Ohio State and Liberty.
Due to a scheduling conflict, the Ohio softball team's fall doubleheader against the University of Charleston (W. Va.), originally scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 16, has been moved to Sunday, Oct. 14. The doubleheader is set to begin at 12 p.m. at the Ohio Softball Field.
