ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio women's basketball squad (14-10, 7-5 MAC) will look to win its third consecutive game when it welcomes the Miami RedHawks (12-13, 6-6MAC) into The Convo Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m.

On Deck for the Bobcats:

After hosting the RedHawks of Miami for a Saturday afternoon game on Feb. 18,the Bobcats then hit the road for their final two road games of the regular season...Ohio travels to Buffalo to clash with the Bulls on Feb. 21...Tip-off is set for 7 p.m...The Bobcats then travel to Bowling Green to meet the Falcons at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 24...After finishing up the last two regular season road games, the Bobcats return to The Convo for the final regular season game when the host Akron on Feb 28...Tip-off for the game (Senior Day) is set for 7 p.m...

The Bobcats have forced their opponents into an average of 15.8 turnovers per game, while holding them to 38.4 percent shooting from the field and 33.3 percent from behing the three-point line.

MAC Leaders (as of Feb. 15)

Ohio has 2 players ranked in the top 15 in the MAC in scoring - Lauren Kohn is 8th with 15.9 ppg and Rachel Frederick is 13th at 13.7 ppg. Frederick recorded her ninth double-double (tied for 1st in the MAC) with 15 points and 19 rebounds vs. KSU (2/14). Frederick also tops the MAC charts in rebounds (9.2 rpg). Kohn has made 57-of-61 free-throw attempts in MAC play this season, which gives her the highest free-throw percentage in MAC play at 93.4-percent.

Turning Things Around

Sylvia Crawley has already started to turn Ohio's women's basketball program around. The team has more wins (14) than the had last season and Ohio won three consecutive conference games (with wins over Northern Illinois, Ball State, and Central Michigan) for the first time since the 1997-98 season.

Ohio's 14 wins are the most wins that a Bobcat team has had since the 1998-99 season.

With three home games remaining on the 2006-07 schedule, the Bobcats have already exceeded the home attendance numbers from the 2005-06 season. During the 05-06 season, the Bobcats had 13 home games and had a total attendance of 5,026, which gave them an avg. attendance of 387/game. This season the Bobcats have hosted 12 games and had a total attendance of 6,865, which gives them an avg. attendance of 572/game.

Last Time Out (Miami vs. Buffalo)

OXFORD, Ohio - Junior Amanda Jackson scored a game-high 26 points and sophomore Jenna Schone hit a pair of clutch free throws with 19 seconds remaining as the Miami University women's basketball team (12-13; 6-6 MAC) gutted out a 71-68 win over the Buffalo Bulls (8-16; 3-9 MAC) Wednesday night at Millett Hall. Junior Jaclyn Leininger also posted her third double-double in the past four games with 11 points and 13 rebounds as Miami snapped a three-game losing streak and completed a regular-season sweep of Buffalo.

Miami was boosted by its strong guard play, as its backcourt combined to score 60 of its 71 points. Junior Ashley Hawkins (17 points) and Schone (10 points) both scored in double figures, and junior Sarah Hull chipped in seven points. The difference in the game was Miami's ability to convert at the charity stripe, as the RedHawks hit 17-of-19 from the line (89.5 percent) and the Bulls converted only 5-of-18 (27.8 percent) from the line.
