Ohio Women's Basketball Announces Summer Camps Registration

ATHENS, Ohio - Head coach Semeka Randall and the Ohio women's basketball program has announced that registration for the 2009 Ohio University Girls Summer Basketball Camps is now open. Two different camps will be held this summer, including a day camp held daily June 16-19, and a team camp held June 19-21. "Summer camps are the best for refining fundamental skills and being coached by knowledgeable people," Randall said. "Ohio University Girls Summer Camps provide a great opportunity to become a better basketball player and to be around great people as well." The summer camps season gets under way Tuesday, June 16, with the opening of the Bobcat Day Camp. Cost for the camp is $100 and will include daily instruction as well as a camp T-shirt, an Ohio basketball and lunch. The day camp is for ages 9-18, and will run through Friday, June 19. Team camp will open up June 19th and run through Sunday, June 21. These sessions are for ages 15-18, and are designed for advanced, highly-skilled high school players. Fees for the camp are $150 for those staying in campus residency and $75 for those commuting in. Both fees include games and a camp T-shirt.
