Ohio's Complete 2012-13 Schedule

ATHENS, Ohio - Ohio Women's Basketball will play two televised games during the 2012-13 season, the Mid-American Conference announced on Wednesday. Both of these games will be carried on SportsTime Ohio in a seven-day span in February during the heart of the conference schedule.

On Saturday, Feb. 9, Ohio will tip off at Eastern Michigan at noon in its first televised game of the season. Seven days later, the Bobcats will host a televised contest on Feb. 16 when the Western Michigan Broncos come to town. This game will also begin at noon.

Ohio will also be eligible for the conference's two "wildcard" games, which will be televised as well. Decisions concerning which MAC schools will appear in these games will be made 21 days ahead of time.

One of the six teams in the Mid-American Conference which is guaranteed to appear on television twice, Ohio joins the likes of Central Michigan, Toledo, Kent State, Eastern Michigan and Miami. Ball State, Northern Illinois, Western Michigan, Buffalo, Akron and Bowling Green are all guaranteed one game on television in 2012-13.

For home games during the 2012-13 season, Ohio will be following its pattern of 7 p.m. weeknight tipoffs and 2 p.m. weekend tipoffs with a few exceptions. Thursday, Nov. 29 will serve as the program's annual Middle School Day and will begin at 11:30 a.m. The other exception is the aforementioned home TV game against Western Michigan, which will tip off at noon.

Ohio will play 14 home games and one home exhibition during the 2012-13 season. The Bobcats will welcome Wheeling Jesuit to The Convocation Center for an exhibition on Nov. 8 before opening the regular season by hosting Cleveland State on Nov. 13.
