ATHENS, Ohio - Announced today by the Ohio men's and women's basketball programs are updates to the respective team's 2007-08 schedules.

Updates to Bobcat home events include tip times for the women's and men's doubleheader on Feb. 9. The women will entertain Eastern Michigan at noon while the men will play host to Western Michigan at 2:30 p.m.

Due to television, there have also been time changes to road dates for the men and women. The Ohio men's game at Akron on Jan. 17 - previously set for 7 p.m. - is now going to tip at 9 p.m., and will be carried live by ESPNU. The men's game at Kent State on Feb. 16 will now either be at noon or 2:30 p.m., as opposed to the previously announced time of 7 p.m.

On the women's side, there is a change to a road date at Central Michigan. The game on Jan. 26 was slated for 4 p.m., but will now tip at noon.

Additionally, to update television coverage for the Ohio men, the season-opener against New Mexico State on Nov. 9 will be carried live by Guardian Television Network (GTN). The remainder of the Bobcats GTN schedule will be released at a later date.

Ohio men's hoops will begin competition with an exhibition against Mercyhurst this Saturday, Nov. 3, in the Convocation Center at 7 p.m. The women's exhibition will take place against the Showtime Skins in The Convo on Nov. 7 at 7 p.m.
