Katherine Claeys joins the staff of the Bobcats in 2008 as an undergraduate assistant coach, as she works to finish up her undergraduate degree in sport management. Claeys will assist with practices and games, and also work closely with the goalies.

Claeys was a goalkeeper for Ohio in 2006 and 2007, where she saw action in nine games and logged 126 minutes. During her time with the Bobcats she allowed only one goal, made four saves and recorded a win.

2007: Played five games in goal for Ohio for a total 97:03 minutes of action ... Tallied four saves on the season with a 1-0 record ... Made season debut against Robert Morris on Sept. 4 ... Saw 8:30 minutes of action at St. Louis (9/29) ... Recorded her first save of the season at home against Central Michigan (10/5) ... Made the first start of her career in goal against Missouri State on Senior Day ... Made a career-high three saves in her first shutout win ever over Missouri State (10/21).

2006: Made four appearances between the pipes ... Had one goal against in just under 30 minutes of action.

AT PROVIDENCE: Made three appearances in 2005 after not participating in 2004 ... Logged just more than 58 minutes between the pipes in 2005 ... Stopped six of eight shots on goal.

HIGH SCHOOL: Earned three Illinois state titles, including an undefeated campaign in 2002 ... Made 193 saves in 82 career games ... Named Outstanding Goalkeeper in each of her three varsity seasons ... Participated in the National Futures Tournament in 2001 and 2003.
