ATHENS, Ohio - Ohio Athletics will hold its second Coffee with Coach this Friday, Aug. 3 at Union Street Cafe. Ohio Field Hockey Head Coach Neil Macmillan will be the guest with the event, free to the public, beginning at 10 a.m.

Macmillan was named the 2011 MAC Coach of the Year after leading the Bobcats to a 19-5 record and had the Bobcats ranked as high as 15th in the national coaches poll. Macmillan has now led Ohio to four league titles in seven seasons and two NCAA Tournament berths.

This was the third time that Macmillan has been named the MAC Field Hockey's Coach of the Year. He has had a winning record in MAC play every season since arriving at Ohio and has never had a losing record during his tenure with the Bobcats.

Macmillan has produced 20 All-MAC First Team selections, 14 All-MAC Second Team selections, a MAC Freshman of the Year, three MAC Tournament MVPs and three MAC Players of the Year, including Louzeth Schutte in 2011. In addition, he has had a player named NFHCA All-Region every season of his tenure, including three Bobcats last season.

The next two Coffee with Coach events will be held Fri., Aug. 17 at 9:30 a.m. with Ohio Men's Basketball Head Coach Jim Christian. as the guest and Thurs., Sept. 6 at 10 a.m. with Ohio Soccer's Stacy Strauss as the guest.
