ATHENS, Ohio - The Ohio University field hockey team (2-5) travels to Coraopolis, Pa., this weekend for two non-conference matches at Robert Morris' Joe Walton Stadium.
The Bobcats begin the trip with a game against Towson University on Sept. 28 (12 p.m.) before playing host Robert Morris University on Sept. 29 (12 p.m.).

Bobcats Gain Retribution on Robert Morris, 2-1
ATHENS, Ohio - Luli Gomez Teruel scored the game-winner with under four minutes remaining to give Ohio Field Hockey a 2-1 win during a back-and-forth encounter with Robert Morris this afternoon.

Last Time Out
The `Cats enter the weekend with a 2-5 record after falling 3-1 to Indiana University last Saturday in Bloomington, Ind. Senior Jessica Jue (Vancouver, British Columbia) posted her second goal in three games to lead the Bobcat offense, while junior goalkeeper Brittany Walker (Elizabethtown, Pa.) held IU's ninth-ranked offense under its scoring average (3.50) for the season.
Among MAC Leaders
After being named MAC Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 9, senior Luli Gomez Teruel (Salta, Argentina) continues to shine on the MAC leaderboards. She leads the league with an average of 0.71 points per game and ranks third in goals with five.
Walker, a four-time MAC Defensive Player of the Week in her career, ranks fourth in league with a 2.76 goals against average and is fifth in saves with 33. Last weekend, she made six saves in 70 minutes of action against Indiana.
Scouting the Tigers (1-8)
Saturday's game marks the first time the Bobcats will face the Towson Tigers in program history. Towson enters the weekend with a 1-8 record, following back-to-back shutout setbacks against Monmouth University and Robert Morris. The Tigers are among the Colonial Athletic Association defensive leaders in the cage, placing second in the conference in saves per game (.747). Goalkeeper Brittany Varacallo leads the league with a 1.87 goals against average.
Scouting the Colonials (6-3)
Ohio has a 4-1 all-time record against Robert Morris which includes a 2-1 win last season in Athens. The Colonials enter the weekend with a 5-3 record, ranking in the top-4 for all offensive categories in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. Last weekend, Robert Morris defeated UMass-Lowell, 5-1, before falling to Lock Haven University 4-2 the following day. Senior Jamie Hartley leads the team with 12 points, 23 shots and 14 shots on goal this season.
Ohio returns to action with a pair of matches next weekend. The Bobcats host Miami (Ohio) on Oct. 5 at 1 p.m. and play at Ohio State Oct. 6 at 1 p.m.
