ATHENS, Ohio - No. 15 Ohio will wrap up its four-game homestand with a contest against Kent State on Friday and a Sunday match-up against Missouri State. The Bobcats won their last two homes games last weekend to stay undefeated on their home field with a 4-0 record.

Ohio enters its seventh straight week in the STX/NFHCA Division I National Coaches Poll. This week the Bobcats remain at No. 15 for the second straight week.

Leader of the Pack
Ohio is the No. 1 team in the Mid-American Conference with a 6-1 (.857) conference record and a 12-4 (.750) overall record. The Bobcats also lead the MAC in ten categories, including shutouts, shots, shots per game, goals, and penalty corners.
Seniority
Sunday is Senior Day at Peggy Pruitt Field. Bobcat seniors Torrie Albini, Lauren Cassady, Lindsay Schwartz, Katherine Claeys and Rita Murphy will be honored.
A Look at the `Cats
Senior Torrie Albini continues to lead the Bobcat offense with a team-high 12 goals scored. Albini has played all 16 games of the season and averages 4.69 shots and 1.12 points per game. Sisters Rachelle and Estienne Coetzee have scored eight and seven goals, respectively. Marcy Dull has scored six goals on the season, while Katelyn Shelley adds three.
Bobcat goalie Jessie Martin has been named the MAC Defensive Player of the Week five times this season. She leads the MAC in shutouts and is fourth in the conference with 69 saves.
Scouting Kent State
The Kent State Golden Flashes are second in the MAC with a 5-2 (.714) conference record and a 10-6 (.625) overall record. The Flashes have played their last five games at home, including a 1-0 win over the Bobcats on Oct. 7.
Rachel Miller leads Kent State's offense with 10 goals scored this season. She totals 28 points and has eight assists. Charlotte Muller and Laurie Wilkins have scored five goals apiece. Goalie Kate Copeland has recorded 81 saves on the season and has 10 wins, including three shutouts.
Scouting Missouri State
Missouri State has not won a conference game so far this season and is sixth in the MAC with a 1-14 (.067) overall record. The Bears have scored eight goals this season, led by Amanda Miyashita and Melissa Millin with three and two goals, respectively.
A First Time for Everything
Ohio field hockey player Nina Bruno has been named the MAC Defensive Player of the Week for the week of Oct. 15. It is the first MAC award of Bruno's career and the tenth weekly award for the Bobcats this season. Bruno scored the first goal of her two-year career last weekend in a 2-1 Bobcat win over Miami on Sunday. She also helped lead the Bobcats to a 4-3 win over Ball State on Friday.
Emerging Coetzee
In the span of four games Rachelle Coetzee has quickly become an offensive power for the Bobcats. Her four-game scoring streak (9/22-10-/5) lifted her season goal total to eight.
