ATHENS, Ohio- Marcy Dull has been named to the 2009 Academic All-Conference Team, the Mid-American Conference announced Tuesday. This honor caps off a tremendous career for the senior student-athlete and marks the second consecutive year that she has been named to the team.

Dull (Ephrata, Pa.) currently holds a 3.59 GPA while studying finance and marketing. She was named the Tournament MVP of the 2009 MAC Tournament, which was won by her Bobcats. Marcy led the team both in goals (11) and points (25) while tying for first in game-winning goals (5). She was an integral part of the team and did a great job of leading her teammates by example. She was also named to the 2009 MAC First Team and was selected for the 2009 Longstreth/Division One West Region All-Star Team.

The Bobcats finished the 2009 season with a 12-9 record. The team won a share of the MAC regular-season title and took first in the conference tournament before falling by a 2-1 score to the Richmond Spiders in an NCAA play-in game.
