Ohio Women's Golf Sits In 10th After Round One of Dolores Black Falcon Invitational

Ohio women's golf senior Kara Brinkmann is tied for 29th place with sophomore Angela Codian after the first round of the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Ohio University women's golf team sits in 10th place after the first round of the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational on Saturday (April 12) at the Stone Ridge Golf Club. The Bobcats combined to card a 324 (+36).

Freshman Hailey Hrynewich (Muskegon, Mich.) fired a 79 (+7) to tie for 21st place and pace the `Cats.

Senior Kara Brinkmann (Middletown, Ohio) and sophomore Angela Codian (Massillon, Ohio) each posted an 80 (+8) to tie for 29th.

Junior Julie Lechner (Powell, Ohio) tied for 64th after shooting an 85 (+13) in the first round.

Senior Kristen Helmsdoerfer (Westerville, Ohio) rounded out the Ohio contingent, tying for 73rd with an 87 (+15).

The 36-hole tournament concludes on Sunday (April 13), with final-round action set to get underway at 8:30 a.m. ET.
