Sophomore Angela Codian jumped from a tie for 29th place after the first round to finish in a tie for 15th after the final round of the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational on Sunday in Bowling Green, Ohio.

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Ohio University women's golf team fought windy conditions on Sunday (April 13) to tally a final-round score of 329 (+41), placing 10th with a 653 (+77) at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational on Saturday (April 12) at the Stone Ridge Golf Club.
Sophomore Angela Codian (Massillon, Ohio) duplicated her first-round effort, carding an 80 (+8) in the final round to jump from a tie for 29th place to a tie for 15th with a 160 (+16).
Freshman Hailey Hrynewich (Muskegon, Mich.) totaled a 163 (+19) to tie for 26th after shooting an 84 (+12) in the final.
Senior Kara Brinkmann (Middletown, Ohio) tied for 49th place with a 167 (+23), carding a final-round score of 87 (+15).
Senior Kristen Helmsdoerfer (Westerville, Ohio) improved from her first-round score by six strokes with an 81 (+9), finishing in a tie for 55th with an overall score of 168 (+24).
Junior Julie Lechner (Powell, Ohio) posted a final-round score of 84 (+12) to tie for 59th with a 169 (+25).
Sophomore Lauren McKinzie (Medina, Ohio) and freshman Katy Ho (Wadsworth, Ohio) competed as individuals in the invitational. McKinzie carded a 168 (82, 86; +24) to tie for 55th while Ho recorded a 172 (89, 83; +28) to finish in a tie for 73rd.
The Bobcats will be back in action next weekend for the Ohio State-hosted Lady Buckeye Invitational (April 19-20) in Columbus, Ohio. It will be Ohio's first appearance in the tournament since 2007.
