DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. - The Ohio women's golf team turned in 36 holes Saturday at the LPGA International Xavier Invitational.

Playing the 6,225-yard LPGA International course in a tournament hosted by Xavier, the Ohio women compiled a team score of 652 in two rounds on Saturday. Of the 14 teams in the event, the Bobcats will enter Sunday's final round in last place, two strokes behind Wichita State.

Katie Stafford (Phoenix, Ariz.) and Lauren Bergman (Blacklick, Ohio) led the Ohio effort on Saturday with 17-over 161s. The pair will enter Sunday's final 18 holes tied for 49th out of 79 competitors.

Jordan Fesh (Toledo, Ohio) is three strokes behind Stafford and Bergman with a 164 through 36 holes, which has her tied for 54th. Erin Cahill (Hilliard, Ohio) and Colleen Lienesch (Centerville, Ohio) rounded out Ohio's card on Saturday with respective scores of 167 and 168 to sit in ties for 66th and 72nd.

Costal Carolina has the team lead with 36 holes in the books with an 18-over total of 594, 12 strokes ahead of Lamar. Lamar's Linda Persson has the individual lead at two-under.

The competition will conclude with 18 holes on Sunday.
