In addition to tournament-host Morehead State, three other Kentucky-based teams -- Eastern Kentucky, Murray State, and Western Kentucky -- will make the trip to Ocala. Four Floridian teams -- Daytona State, Florida Gulf Coast, North Florida and Stetson -- make up the field. Rounding out the field are Austin Peay, Houston Baptist, McNeese State and Omaha.
Last Time Out Ohio made a splash in the record books earlier this month (March 7-9), finishing 11th at the Rio Verde Invitational in Rio Verde, Ariz. Their 929 (+77) 54-hole mark was good enough for eighth-best in team history. Sophomore Angela Codian's (Massillon, Ohio) 230 (+17) score propelled her to a 23rd finish, while senior Kara Brinkmann (Middletown, Ohio) followed in a tie for 28th (232 +19).
Codian caught up with OhioBobcats.com for the inaugural episode of 'Clubhouse Chat' to preview the Ocala Invitational, recap the Rio Verde Invitational, explain making adjustments in golf and discucess how her love for the game developed.
Up Next The Bobcats will be back in action at the 2014 Lady Colonel Classic on April 4-5 in Richmond, Ky.
