The Bobcats are traveling west to compete in the Angola Shootout at Glendarin Hills Golf Club on Saturday beginning with a shotgun start at 8:30 a.m.

The tournament will take place throughout the course of one day, with the seven participating teams (host Ball State, Akron, Bowling Green, Cleveland State, Ohio, Toledo, and Western Michigan) playing two rounds on the par 72, 6,142-yard course in Angola, Ind.

Ohio is coming off of a seventh-place finish at the 2013 Dolores Black Falcon Invitational in Bowling Green, Ohio, last weekend. Five of Ohio’s seven golfers showed improvement on the second day of the competition, as the team dropped a combined 25 strokes from the first to second round. Freshman Angela Codian (Massillon, Ohio) led the team with her two-round score of 158, ending the tournament tied for ninth place.
