LIMA, Ohio - Ohio University women's golfers Erin Cahill, Jordan Fesh, Megan Weaver and Meryl Weaver were each in action on the amateur circuit in the last week, representing the Bobcats at the 109th Women's Western Golf Association National Amateur Championship at Shawnee Country Club.

Meryl Weaver (Canton, Ohio) made the deepest run of the quartet of Ohio players in the event, reaching the final match of Flight Four on Friday, where she fell, 2 and 1, to Kaitlyn Van Gunten of Findlay, Ohio. The rising sophomore opened the tournament with victories over Carly Arison (3 and 2) of Copley, Ohio, and Deb Mielke (2 and 1) of McKinney, Texas, to reach the semifinal round.
