WASHINGTON, D.C. Becky Oxman was successful on seven of her eight shot attempts and Lynz Keys added four goals on five tries to lead the Ohio lacrosse team to a 20-10 victory over Howard.

Kristen Gombeski and Dana Dobbie each found the net three times as seven different players recorded a goal. Dobbie also earned eight draw controls while Gombeski won four draws.

Ohio (3-2) snapped a string of back-to-back losses by tallying the first four goals of the game. After the Bison rallied to within 5-3, the Bobcats ended the half with six unanswered strikes for an 11-3 lead at intermission.

Defensively, Meg Ryan had five ground balls while Keys added four ground balls and caused three turnovers. Bobcat senior Jennifer Cassidy and freshman Jayme Levy were strong in goal, registering five and four saves, respectively.

Ohio now has 10 days off for final exams before making its first-ever trip to California. The Bobcats face Stanford on March 23 and St. Mary's on March 27.
