Ohio Defeats Davidson 10-3 for First American Lacrosse Conference Win

Dana Dobbie led Ohio to its first ALC win of the season with a pair of goals and three assists.
DAVIDSON, N.C. -- Dana Dobbie tallied two goals and three assists and Katie Peksa added a pair of goals to lead Ohio to a 10-3 victory over Davidson in American Lacrosse Conference action on Sunday.
The Bobcats had eight different scorers on the afternoon. Frannie Sullivan scored a goal and two assists, while Caitlin Link, Amanda Diehl, Lauren Dansak, Julie Roguski and Kristen Gombeski added single strikes.
The Bobcats (2-5, 1-3) led 4-0 at halftime. Additional statistics are not available.
"A lot of players contributed for us today with a wide range of scoring," said head coach Kate Brew. "We were able to force turnovers in the midfield and Dana controlled the draws. On defense, we played a solid game and Jayme (Levy) came up with some big saves."
Ohio returns to action on Friday when it hosts St. Mary's (Calif.) at Pruitt Field. The start time is 4 p.m.
