TROY, N.Y. -- Senior Caitlin Link scored a pair of goals, but Albany broke a 4-4 halftime tie with three unanswered goals to post an 8-5 victory over the Bobcats at Harkness Field on the campus of Union College. The loss snaps Ohio's two-game winning streak.

The Bobcats (3-6) got single strikes from Dana Dobbie, Julie Roguski and Kelly Windle.

Dobbie, Ohio's leading scorer this season, received two yellow cards in the first half and was ejected.

Kate Fontana led the Great Danes (2-10) with four goals, including three in the second half. Albany snapped a nine-game skid with the victory.

Albany opened the scoring nearly eight-and-a-half minutes into the contest, but Caitlin Link evened the score at one just 53 seconds later when she converted a free position shot. The teams traded goals again at 10:24 and 11:38, the latter by Roguski to even the score at two.

Dobbie put Ohio ahead for the first time at 3-2 when she converted a free position shot with 17:45 left, but Albany tallied back-to-back goals for a 4-3 edge. Link's second goal, a free position shot with 17 seconds left in the half, tied the score at four at intermission.

The Great Danes opened the second half with goals at 37:44, 39:40 and 48:32 for a 7-4 advantage, but Windle broke the run by converting a free position shot with 5:19 left. Albany guaranteed the win with an insurance goal at the 57:56 mark.
