Lacrosse tops Duquesne 10-9 on Sunday
Bobcats erase 7-5 halftime deficit; Hart leads way with five goals

PITTSBURGH, Pa. -- Ohio rallied from a 7-5 halftime deficit, scoring twice in the final 2:15, to defeat Duquesne 10-9 in non-conference women's lacrosse action Sunday at Rooney Field. Lindsey Hart scored five times for the Bobcats, who improve to 6-3 this season, while Melissa Menna added a pair of goals, both in the second period. Lauren Dutch and Kristin Harner led the Dukes with three goals each.
Duquesne got on the board first off a free position goal by Kristin Harner before the Bobcats rattled off three goals in three minutes to take a 3-1 edge over the Dukes. Lindsey Keys took an assist from Becky Oxman at the 4:40 mark to even the score, before Hart knocked in two straight unassisted. Duquesne evened the score at three, when Harner scored again on another free position shot.
The Bobcats scored back-to-back goals in a three-minute span, Keys and Hart in succession again, but the Dukes rallied with four straight to hold a 7-5 advantage at the half.
Hart's free position goal at 37:20 marked the first score of the second frame before Caitlin Link's goal at 39:46 knotted the game at 7-7. Menna then netted the go-ahead goal for the Bobcats at 54:02, but Duquesne evened the game at 8-8 with just 4:02 left in the contest. The Dukes took their final lead 18 seconds later when Dutch tallied her third goal of the game. OU tied the game once more when Hart scored at the 57:45 mark and Becky Oxman secured the victory with a free position goal with :55 showing for the win.
Jennifer Cassidy made 11 saves for the Bobcats, facing 27 shots in the contest.
