Bobcat Lacrosse Falls Short at St. Bonaventure
Five consecutive goals by the Bonnies late in the first half help them stay undefeated

ALFRED, N.Y.__ -- St. Bonaventure remained undefeated on the women's lacrosse season with a 13-11 win over Ohio on Sunday at Alfred University. The Bonnies moved to 8-0 and established a new school record for wins in a season, topping the mark of seven set last year.
With a 4-4 tie with 10:23 remaining in the first half, the Bonnies used five consecutive goals to hold a 9-4 lead at halftime. They also tallied the first goal of the second half to increase their lead to 10-4.
The Bobcats countered with four goals in three minutes to cut the lead to 10-8. Ohio would come within one goal, 11-10 at the 11:43 mark.
But SBY's Emily Lilyea then netted two goals in the next two minutes to secure the victory. She led the Bonnies with three goals and one assist.
