Contact: Jim Stephan

Lindsey Hart finished second in the nation in goals per game with a 3.87 average.

Athens, Ohio - Ohio lacrosse midfielder Lindsey Hart picked up awards recently for both her play on the field and her work in the classroom. The junior was a second-team All-Mid-Atlantic Region selection by the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) and a third-team Academic All-District IV choice by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). The CoSIDA team award was in the at-large category, covering sports such as lacrosse, swimming, wrestling, tennis, gymnastics among others.

Hart finished fourth in the nation in points per game (5.00) and second in goals per game (3.87). She set a school record with 58 goals, while tying the mark of 75 points. Hart tallied eight goals against the Albany this year, the second-highest output in school history, behind her own standard of 10 goals against Mercyhurst her sophomore campaign. She played an integral role in leading the Bobcats to a school-record for wins and their first-ever winning season (9-6).

A native of Vineland, Ontario, Canada, Hart has grade-point average of 3.64 in biology and pre-med.
