Ohio Head Lacrosse Coach Allison Valentino has announced that Jess Roguski and Caline McHenry will be assistant coaches for the Bobcats in 2005-06. Roguski was a member of the staff last season, while McHenry is in her first season on the sideline.
Roguski assists with all aspects of the Bobcat lacrosse program, including recruiting, coordinating travel, monitoring academic progress and gameplan preparation. She is a 2004 graduate of Vanderbilt University, where she was a two-time All-American Lacrosse Conference selection. Roguski is currently a member of the U.S. Developmental Team and was a 2004 second-team All-America selection by U.S. Lacrosse. She led the Commodores with 42 goals, helping the squad advance to the 2004 NCAA semifinals. She is currently pursuing a master's degree at ohio.
McHenry enters the coaching ranks after completing a stellar career at Duke University. She was a 2005 first-team All-American, and is also a member of the U.S. Developmental Team. A two-time All-ACC pick, McHenry was a semifinalist for the 2005 Tewaaraton Trophy, which is presented to the top lacrosse player in the nation. McHenry graduated from Duke in 2005 with a bachelor's degree in psychology.
