ATHENS, Ohio -
The Ohio lacrosse team hosted several recent graduates in its second-annual Alumni Game. The contest was part of the school's homecoming weekend.
Former Bobcats that returned for the event included Molly Wurdack, Simone Lelchuk, Caitlin Link, Lizzie Wilson, Meg Ryan and Lauren Dansak from the class of 2005.
Becky Oxman, Melissa Menna, Courtney Santelli, Emily Hemmelgarn and Alyssa Trocher, all members of the class of 2004, participated as well.
Ohio finishes its fall season on Oct. 28. Head Coach Allison Valentino is in her first season with Bobcats. She came to Ohio after serving as an assistant coach at Maryland and Duke. The Bobcats return two of their three top scorers from last season in Dana Dobbie and Frannie Sullivan. Dobbie was a second-team all-region pick last season after leading the team with 37 goals, 13 assists and 50 points. Sullivan ranked third on the squad in points with 24 on 12 goals and 12 assists.
The Bobcats also return both goalkeepers that combined to play in all 16 games last season. Jen Heup and Jayme Levy each made more than 60 saves a year ago.
