2006: Did not play in the 2006 fall season. 2005: Named to the MAC All-Freshman Team... appeared in all 16 matches before missing the season finale with an injury... overall, made 13 starts... her first collegiate goal was the game-winner in 5-1 victory over Cleveland State on Sept. 4... took a career-high five shots that game... scored the first goal in 2-1 double-overtime win against Eastern Michigan on Sept. 25... also scored at Western Michigan on Oct. 2 and at Toledo on Oct. 9... finished second on the team in goals (4), points (8) and shots (27). HIGH SCHOOL: The only sophomore on the Minnesota Class AA all-state team after scoring 17 goals in 2002... ended up being a two-time all-state and all-metro selection... led her squad to a conference title and was named the Most Valuable Player in the Twin City's Senior Game... academically, served as a Back Pack Tutor. CLUB: Played for the St. Croix Elite club team and was a member of the Minnesota ODP squad and regional pool. PERSONAL: Intends to major in sport industry... daughter of Sandy and Jose Rojas-Alford... her older sister Liza played at Georgetown... also has two other older sisters, Carol and Jessica, and an older brother, Nic... born May 30, 1987. |
