After four years in the Ohio program as a player, Amy Switzer has joined Head Coach Stacy Strauss' staff for the 2007 season as a graduate assistant.

A native of Noblesville, Ind., Switzer came to Ohio in the fall of 2003 following a distinguished prep career at Bishop Fenwick High School across the border in Middletown, Ohio.

The midfielder played in eight games to start her collegiate career at Ohio before suffering a season-ending knee injury. Switzer then played in six matches as a sophomore before spending most of her junior and senior seasons as a starter. She finished her career with 24 starts and 46 games played.

Switzer is a 2007 Ohio University graduate with a bachelor's in exercise science. She is currently pursuing a master's in coaching education at Ohio and intends to complete her graduate degree in June, 2008.
