Box Score

BOWLING GREEN, Ohio - The Bobcats were held to just five shot attempts on Friday afternoon at Bowling Green but were on the verge of pulling out a scoreless draw before the Falcons scored midway through the second overtime to hand the Bobcats their third straight 1-0 loss.

Ohio (4-9-3, 4-4-1 MAC) has been shutout in each of its four conference losses while Bowling Green (7-9-1, 4-5-0 MAC) won their second consecutive double-overtime thriller, knocking off Miami 1-0 last Sunday.

In the 105th minute of the game and with just more than five minutes remaining in the second overtime, Bowling Green's Katie Stephenson found Corbie Yee for the game winning goal and Yee's first score of the season. Yee, who leads the Falcons with five assists and also paced the team with 36 shot attempts, had not hit the back of the net this season prior to her golden goal against the Bobcats in front of 211 fans at BGSU's Cochrane Field.

Bobcat keeper Jess MacLean (Loveland) recorded fives saves but could not collect her sixth in the waning minutes in Ohio's third-to-last regular season game of the season. Bowling Green's Alexa Arsenault recorded three saves in earning the clean sheet victory.

Bowling Green mustered 13 total shots attempts, placing six on goal, and both teams recorded four corner kicks apiece.

MacLean played all 104 minutes and 53 seconds in goal for the `Cats and defenders Kristen Miller (Cincinnati), Elyse Merchant (Carmel, Ind.), and Mary McPhail (West Des Moines, Iowa) joined their keeper on the pitch for every minute of the MAC game.

A total of 27 fouls were called in the contest, 16 on Ohio, while the Falcons were issued two yellow cards - Brianna Eisenhard in the 84th minute and Colleen Kordan in the 91st minute.

The Bobcats will remain in Northwestern Ohio when they make the short trip north to battle Toledo in the second-to-last MAC regular season game of Ohio's 2007 campaign.
