ATHENS, Ohio - Got game? Fans looking to hone their skills on the soccer field will have the opportunity to do so April 19, 2009, when the Ohio women's soccer team hosts a free clinic at Chessa Field from 1:30 to 3 p.m. Fans of all age groups are invited to attend.

The clinic will cover a variety of skills from defense, to shooting and passing and various other techniques. Instruction will be given by the Ohio soccer coaches and players and will provide the public the opportunity to get to know the Bobcats on an up-close and personal level.

All participants must bring their own soccer balls, shin guards and other equipment. In addition, they should also bring their own water and sun screen. For questions and more information, please contact Gina Siedentopf at (740) 593-0720, or by email at ginas5@hotmail.com.

Ohio is currently preparing for its spring season, while the 2009 campaign will officially get underway the end of August.
