ATHENS, Ohio - Ohio soccer has announced that it will be hosting both a soccer coaching clinic and a high school preseason clinic, in addition to its annual extended clinic sessions. The coaching clinic, for soccer coaches only, will take place May 8, while the high school preseason clinic will be held July 13-16.

The soccer coaching clinic is a three-hour clinic from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on May 8 at Chessa Field. Cost for the event is $50, and each participant must have their own medical insurance.

A four-day clinic designed to help prepare local HS girls soccer teams (ages 14-18) for their coming seasons, the high school preseason clinic will run from Tuesday, July 13 to Friday, July 16 from 6 to 8 p.m. each evening. As with other clinics, it will be held at Chessa Field and participants must bring their own equipment, i.e. balls, shin guards, water bottle etc. and have their own medical insurance. Cost for the clinic is $75 per person.
