CINCINNATI, Ohio - A tie and a win comprised Ohio soccer's second weekend of spring competition as the `Cats drew a 1-1 tie with the University of Indianapolis before picking up a 1-0 victory over host Xavier Sunday.

Playing just 60 minutes per contest, including two 30-minute halves, Ohio battled to a draw against the Greyhounds. Cathryn Rogers (Toronto, Ontario) picked up her second goal of the spring for the `Cats, while Erin Schwenke assisted on the score for her second assist of spring play.

Ohio showed no signs of fatigue in its second contest of the day against the host Musketeers. Ohio's defense turned in a strong showing, holding Xavier scoreless and limiting the Musketeers' scoring chances. Toye Famodu (Bloomington, Minn.) provided the winning score for the Green and White, with Kim Nordtveit (Newtown, Pa.) picking up the assist.

Ohio continues its spring play next weekend at Eastern Kentucky as it takes on Dayton, Lindsey Wilson College and Northern Kentucky Sunday. Each match will last just 45 minutes.
